I met with Amanda and Chris at Panera Bread and we discussed their upcoming wedding over lattes which is one of my favorite things to do! As a wedding photographer, I do an immense amount of traveling so to discover that their wedding was less than 20 minutes from my house made me want to do a happy dance right there on the table. But I just love these guys and I know there wedding day is going to be awesome. We decided to do their e-session in downtown New Port Richey and it’s the best of both worlds with a nice park and a cute little urban area. They also have the historic Hacienda Hotel which is closed now but that didn’t stop my assistant and I from hopping over the wall to take a peek while waiting for Chris and Amanda to arrive. We found a litter of kittens and their mom snugged away under some bushes and I wanted to say hello to these little bundles of joy but they ran into a hole in the building before I can give them my best squeaky voice.
Save the date!
Amanda’s mom collected these stones so Amanda could save them in a heart shaped table. Mom’s do such amazing things, don’t you think?
We saw a red fire hydrant and thought it would be cool to shoot Amanda’s engagement ring on it for a little color!
