Brooke and Matt wanted an intimate gathering in Anna Maria Island and decided to have a DIY wedding complete with one of favorite color’s, pink! They rented a home on the beach and did the decorating themselves which shows you just how adorable a DIY can be! They did, however, want to ensure that their photography package was not Uncle Bob (just made the name up) but someone they could trust to take the pictures on a windy beach day, with the sun going in and out from behind the clouds. I’m so glad they chose me and I have to say, we had a great time being part of their wedding day. The beach ceremony was so soft and elegant. It kept that “beachy” theme while still incorporating the colors pink and white. I love capturing the little wedding munchkins. Beach weddings during the Florida summer months can be hot and humid. It’s always a good idea to make cold, bottled water available to guests. Brooke and Matt also added little DIY fans with their pictures on them and I thought that was a great idea! Wanted to add a little spice to their images so I also edited a couple in a different way just for kicks. FYI: I always provide my typical “clean style” edited image along with any creative image so my clients can always choose which one they like. The same goes with black and white images. I always provide one in color too. Looks like a “happy dance” stroll to me. I couldn’t resist posting these of Brooke and the cute little wedding munchkins.
