When I finally got to meet Denise and James for their e-session (engagement) at the Daytona Lighthouse, I saw two smiles that I fell in love with. It was race week in Daytona and although we left super early, we didn’t realize how backed up the traffic would be. The sky was grey, the clouds threatening, and the rain drizzled down on and off. We finally arrived at our destination and got our session in but during that time, we got to know one another a little. That is one reason why I love the e-sessions I have with all of my brides. It allows us to spend time with one another, chat, go over a few posing tips and tricks, and laugh.

Their wedding was on the beach along with the reception. Once again, rained threatened to pour down on our parade but as luck would have it, it held off and the clouds provided a big diffuser in the sky! I just loved their blue and white color theme, the friends and family who brought so much joy to their wedding, and the love that could be felt from Ormond to Miami.

Denise and James are full of life and laughter and as I worked on their images and this blog, I couldn’t help but smile. I mean, seriously, check out “The Wink” and “The Robot.” So much life in their eyes and spirit and I was blessed to have had the honor to capture it with my camera. I love what I do and those I meet along the way, like Denise and James.

This is a great idea if you’re having a beach wedding. It gets so hot and humid here, your guests will be grateful.
