I always wanted to just walk around the quaint little town of Mount Dora and explore the artistic shops and unique restaurants hidden away on all the side streets. When Glenn and Lindsey agreed to accompany me, I was thrilled. We literally just roamed around, exploring all of the different shops, admiring the work of some of the local artists, and then feasted in a restaurant that serves the best pot pie I’ve ever eaten. If you’re every in Mount Dora, try the Garden Gate Tea Room. We even ran into a furry friend who stole our hearts. I have to say, it was a fun, kicked back, day that included some cute images of these two amazing people. The spirits that both Glen and Lindsey posses remind that yes, we can all be forever young. We can continue to have a sense of wonder, to play, to love, and simply just be. It’s just a matter of the heart.
We ran into some of the cutest hats and couldn’t resist trying a couple of them on.
Here’s the cutest mascot ever! We sorta tripped all over one another trying to get our kisses and hugs in. I was so smitten, I almost forgot to snag a picture. Ah, man! (I had to make this image a tad bigger so you guys could see those big, brown eyes like we did.
Muppet battle with drum sticks. Warning: Do not try this at home. It could be hazardous for the muppets…or the drum sticks.
I couldn’t leave you without sharing some of the delicious food we had for lunch, including desert. Looking at these pictures are making me hungry. Oh boy. I’ll never get off of the elliptical machine at this rate.
They had these cute little pens to sign your bill with.
